Batemans Bay is a town located on the Southern Coast of the state of NSW
Comprising tranquil bays, secret coves and famous surf spots, the amazing South Coast of New South Wales (the state where Sydney is located) is blessed with amazing beaches, stretching from Stanwell Park in the north to Bittangabee Bay , in the south.

In this region the visitor has the possibility to practice a variety of water sports due to the blessed geography, he can also swim in sparkling oceans and discover some of the whitest sands in the world.
On the spectacular Grand Pacific Drive , visitors can stroll along beautiful beaches around Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama. The route is part of the iconic stretch of road that connects Sydney to Melbourne, Coastal Drive. In this stretch the possibilities are diverse and the traveler passes through the white sands and meets the dolphins of Jervis Bay (Jervis Bay), passes through the beautiful region of Eurobodalla and enjoys the beauty of the sparkling Sapphire Coast.
On the way there are still surf schools to entertain sea lovers, such as Australian Surf Tours and Pines Surfing Academy . These two offer trips to The Farm and Mystics, two surf beaches at Killalea State Park, a National Surf Reserve. In addition, in Pebbly Beach, in Murramarang National Park, visitors can also find surf kangaroos sunning themselves on the sands of this beach.
For adventurers who love the beaches, the tip is to do kiteboarding in Vincentia, where the stunning White Sands Walk begins. The crystal clear waters of Jervis Bay Marine Park are a paradise for dolphins, seals, penguins and whales.
Another sport highly recommended in the south coast region is kayaking and stand up paddle. The south coast is also perfect for snorkeling, deep diving and fishing.
Along the miles of NSW’s south coast, visitors can find accommodation options for a variety of budgets, including campsites and parks to park the trailer, motels, beach houses and luxury hotels. Check the calendar of events, festivals, markets and shows in the coastal cities, and enjoy the trip with even more fun.
